Julian covered news stories from more than 65 countries during his 27-year, award-winning career as a journalist at Reuters and CNN. As Reuters deputy bureau chief in Jerusalem, he led the team that won a U.K. Royal Television Society award for coverage from the Middle East.

He is a specialist in television and wire agency news, but has broad experience in all news formats, including digital and social media.

Julian manages Quantum’s operations on a day-to-day basis and works closely with all clients to create winning public relations strategies.

Australian. Born in 1967, and has lived in Asia since 2008 covering Cambodia, China, and Indonesia. Banking career involved in Relationship Banking, Investment Banking, Risk, Operations and Transformation. Extensive knowledge of banking across a broad range of industries and recent focus on restructuring, building, and growing businesses in different geographic and cultural locations.

Being involved with Cambodia for over 3 years and recently joined MekongBank in 2013 as Executive Vice President. He joined the Executive Committee in 2014 after being involved in the Investment Sub-committee in 2013.

Head of Multi-National Corporates, Financial Institutions Groups, ANZ Royal Bank

David Marshall is currently the Head of Mutli-National Corporates and Financial Institutions Group with ANZ Royal Bank. He also serves as Chairman of the Sub-Committee on Education for the IBC. As an Executive Committee member of ANZ Royal, David has served on a number of bank management committees including ALCO and the Audit and Risk Management committee and been working in the banking sector for 17 years, 12 of which have been Cambodia.

David has structured a number of unique first to market transactions in Cambodia for the bank sector and has been a part of deal teams that have delivered financing structures for a variety of industries including agriculture, telecommunications, brewery, airlines, and electricity and water infrastructure. He has also worked in Retail banking on the Wealth Management and consumer lending sides including building out a mortgage proposition to the Cambodian market. Outside of Cambodia, David has worked in Singapore and Canada in the banking sector.

In addition to banking, David has been involved in a number of activities relating to development of bankers including a Leadership Development Program.
