Brett was a significant patron to the business community in Cambodia for over 2 decades.

He will be greatly missed and my heartfelt condolences go to his wife and daughter for their loss.

I first meet Brett in 2009, and since that time valued his insight and wisdom. He was an IBC colleague, Board Director of the Bank I worked for, and a friend who supported my time in Cambodia.

His legacy and goals will continue to live through IBC. RIP

I met Mr. Sciaroni in a couple of meetings with the ICBA that I represent. In one of these we were sitting side by side and we had an exchange about his surname apparently of Italian origin. His ironic way of putting himself aroused a lot of sympathy in me and when I heard him intervene with his speech, addressing issues that were also difficult and uncomfortable in some ways, I realized how much preparation and authority he had. I think he is certainly an example to follow and that he is a stimulus for everyone. With respect and admiration, Aurelio Flacco

I remember the first time I saw him, I was so scared and intimidated. With his loud and powerful voice, I told myself I will probably just last a month at AmCham. But he is the exact opposite of what I thought about him. He always challenge me at work but compliment me after doing the job. He is such a creature of habit, Most of us know exactly where to find him if we need something urgent from him. I used to joke with him that he will be the one sending me to the altar when I get married and he actually agreed(guess, not happening now).
He is one of the many reasons why I stayed at AmCham for 5 years. I will forever remember him.

A legend, a trailblazer, and a character. I can not imagine the experiences he has had. I hope someone writes a his biography. I admire all the good he did for Cambodia. A loss for Cambodia and his many many friends. May he rest in peace.

Brett has taught many including myself. I spent almost 8 years with the firm where I started as his Executive Assistant and left as a Marketing Manager. He was firm ,stubborn but a good hearted person. He was once told me ” No one stay forever” and the definition is endless. That was when I tendered my resignation , it took courage to leave the firm where I left so much memories there, Brett allowed me to fail and make mistake so that I would become who I am today. He was a mentor , a boss and friend. He would throw a joke in any circumstances.

Now that you left us so sudden and ” Forever” I still don’t get over that fact that you had gone. I passed by Metro while I was jogging last weeks and ended up staring a the same table you would sit with a glass of red wine and your Cuban cigar. You’ve left so much to remember, to all of us you were once our guidance, to your good friends and to this little country that you contribute more than other.

I do hope you have a good rest and you will be remembered, Always.

A character who led an eventful life, Brett was the father of public-private dialogue in Cambodia. His achievements and extraordinary experience in this regard greatly served the interests of the Kingdom.
May he and his contribution to Cambodia be remembered.
