Shrewsbury International School Phnom Penh

The Shrewsbury School UK is one of the seven great public schools named in the 1868 Public Schools Act of 1868, as is known for its utilization of the best features of the British educational system. In the UK it won the Best Independent School of the Year Award in 2020. The Shrewsbury International School Phnom Penh will be established in the Flatiron by Meridian for Early Years from September of 2022 as a state-of-the-art co-educational international school for girls and boys. The school will follow Shrewsbury’s distinctive version of whole-person education Floreat, which offers the very best academic, co-curricular and pastoral provision with state-of-the-art classroom, sporting, drama, music and living facilities. English, Khmer and Mandarin language are offered at the school. It shall be 1st boarding school in Cambodia. The school boasts notable famous alumni, including the famous naturalist Sir Charles Darwin. Students take GCSE examinations in Year 11, and A-level examinations in Year 13. These qualifications are known for their depth and rigorousness-ness, and are designed to best prepare students for elite further education institutions, such as Oxford and Cambridge. In 2021, Shrewsbury UK 20% of the Upper Sixth, accepted offers to one of the World Top 20 universities, including Oxford & Cambridge.
