On 5th January 2021, the Ministry of Health issued a press release to inform to the public that there is no new positive case of COVID-19 reported on 4th January.

As of January 4, Cambodia had recorded a total of 382 COVID-19 cases with 362 recovered. 17 of the 20 current positive cases are Cambodian workers from Thailand.
