On Monday morning we were notified by the Royal Government that the Government Private Sector Forum, which routinely attracts 200-300 participants, was being postponed. This was quickly followed by a notice that the CDRI’s Economic Outlook Conference, scheduled for Tuesday morning and for which the Prime Minister would be the keynote speaker, was being postponed as well.
Since that time, the Royal Government has discouraged any large gatherings of people, suspending school, governmental meetings, closing cinemas, etc. Although there is no stated policy as what constitutes a large gathering, meetings with numerous participants are being discouraged. It is with this thought in mind that we are postponing the Open General Meeting, scheduled for April 8 2020.
While we are as disappointed the health and safety of our member is more important than anything else.
Best Regards,
