A1 Plastics Resources Co., Ltd. is a Cambodian recycling company established to develop and operate the country’s first industrial-scale food-grade recycled polyethylene terephthalate (rPET) production facility. The company specialises in collecting, processing, and recycling post-consumer PET plastic bottles into high-quality rPET flakes and rPET pellets for use in food packaging, beverage containers, textile fibers, and other industrial applications. The project supports Cambodia’s environmental sustainability goals by reducing plastic waste and promoting a circular economy. The project is currently in the development and construction phase, including factory establishment, infrastructure development, equipment procurement, and operational preparation at the Pursat Special Economic Zone (PSSEZ). The facility will utilise advanced recycling technology capable of producing food-grade recycled plastic materials that meet international standards, including FDA and EFSA requirements. In the future, A1 Plastics plans to expand production capacity and strengthen its position as a leading regional supplier of certified rPET products. The company aims to increase exports to ASEAN, European, and North American markets while further developing sustainable manufacturing practices, renewable energy utilization, water recycling systems, and value-added recycled plastic products. The project is expected to contribute to environmental protection, employment generation, and long-term economic development in Cambodia.
