COVID 19 – IBC Operations During Phnom Penh Lockdown

In response to the evolving COVID-19 outbreak situation in Cambodia, and due to the characterization of this disease as a “Global Pandemic” by the World Health Organization (WHO), government around the world have imposed a variety of travel restrictions to and from countries where the COVID-19 infections are prevalent and rising. Restrictions include entry denial, enhanced health checks, issuance of a health certificate and quarantine at home, hotel or government facility for 14 days to follow up conditions and confirm the existence or non-existence of the disease.

In accordance with the recent Royal Government directed business closures and stay-at-home orders, we would like to inform you as follows:

  • The International Business Chamber of Cambodia (IBC) Office will remain closed, but we will still be available via online methods, and will continue to work from home until the situation concerning the outbreak of COVID-19 disease becomes better.
  • We will continue to update the IBC telegram group and Facebook page with any urgent updates as they become available. And continue with the monthly Newsletter.
  • All scheduled RGM’s will revert to fully online Webinars (via Zoom), and any face to face meetings will be rescheduled to online meetings.
  • Please take into account we are unable to deliver or accept deliveries of hard copies of documents.

 

Therefore, we wish to inform all of our Members that IBC will still provide all our services and information to our members. Our communications will be done via phone calls email, social media and video conferencing options.
