On Wednesday, 5 May 2021, the Phnom Penh City Hall has officially imposed the administrative measures and defined the new “Red, Orange and Yellow Zone” for 7 days from 6 May until 12 May.
- Yellow Zone is a free travel zone.
- Orange Zone require permit letter to travel and operate any business activities
- People in the Red Zone are not permitted to leave their homes except for medical reasons, COVID-19 test or COVID-19 Vaccine and other necessary travel with the permit letter authorized by Phnom Penh City Hall.
The curfew between 8pm until 3am remains in place, markets, foods & groceries store and restaurant- canteen must sell take away foods, reunion to drink all kinds of alcoholic beverages shall be banned except in the same home or same residing place, and gathering with more than 10 people remains prohibited.
