On 22 March 2023, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MoEYS) has issue a announcement No. 1549 AYK.AKAR on the holiday during 32nd SEA Games and 12th ASEAN Para Games.

To maintain order, and support the above events all education institutions are entitled to have a school break from 20 April 2023 to 14 May 2023.

1. Public Institutions: Early childhood education, Early Childhood education service, Primary School, Secondary School, General Education, and Technical Education

2. Private Institutions: Early childhood education, Early Childhood education service, Primary School, Secondary School, General Education, and Technical Education

3. Higher Education Institutions both Public and Private
