Joint-Instruction on The Criteria in Suspending and Reopening Business Activities and Necessary Measures During Reopening

On 6th May 2021, The Ministry of Health and Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training issued a Joint-Instruction on The Criteria in Suspending and Reopening Business Activities and Necessary Measures During Reopening as follow:

A. The suspension and reopening business activities: the factories/enterprises may be temporarily suspended in case a COVID-19 positive case was founded or the factories/enterprises failed to comply with the joint-instruction or any health measures adopted by the government.

B. Business Reopening Measures: The business/production shall get the permission to reopen their business from the competent governor in the event that their workers/employees do not have any COVID-19 new positive cases during the suspension. The business that are able to reopen need to strictly comply with the health measures adopted by the government.

C. Other measure: Worker/employees who has histories of traveling abroad and have completed a 14 days quarantine, shall continue to perform additional 7 days quarantine at home or choose to work from home for additional 7 days.

During the waiting period of working shift, workers/employees shall not travel to outbreak areas or at risk transmission and shall report their health condition to their employers.
