On 31st August 2020, the Ministry of Health released a notification on mechanism of the COVID-19 test fee and the return of remaining deposit for arriving foreigners after finishing the health measure.
To strengthen the health measure in responding to the spread of COVID-19, the Ministry of Health sincerely inform the arriving foreigners about the fee of the COVID-19 test and the return of remaining deposit as follow:
- All foreigners are required to have the first COVID-19 test upon their arrival, and the second test on the 13th day of their quarantine at the assigned health bases closest to them. The fee of each test is $100, and the payment will be deducted from their deposit with commercial banks which are the ministry’s partners.
- The Ministry of Health will return the remaining deposits to the owner within three days after having the negative testing result from the second test.
- The foreigners that arrive with insurance, they have to pay $100 for the second test in addition to the hotel booking fees that they chose.
This notification is bound to every foreigner arriving Cambodia from 01st September onward.
