Ministry of labour and Vocational Training issued a notification on Paid leave for employees on Khmer New Year for 3 days from 14, 15, and 16 of April 2023, dated on 31 March 2023.

For factories and enterprises that can not stop activities which could have impact on their production chain have to arrange employees to take time off on holidays by taking turns. Any employees who works on holiday are eligible for a bonus equal to the normal daily wage.
