The Ministry of Economy and Finance has issued a Prakas on the Implementation of Customs Duty on Goods Imported from the United States.

Prakas No.632 , dated on 08 August 2025, on the Implementation of Customs Duty on Goods Imported from the United States.

Article 1: This ministry order [prakas] sets the procedures for implementing the 0% customs duty on goods that originate from the United States of America and which are imported to the Kingdom of Cambodia from the United States of America.

Article 2: This ministry order [prakas] has the scope covering goods originating from the United States of America that are transported directly from the United States of America to the Kingdom of Cambodia. Moreover, used goods are not included in the scope of this ministry order [prakas].

Article 3: Importers must declare the origin of goods following the form and procedures set by the General Department of Customs and Excise of Cambodia.

Article 4: The 0% customs duty is applied towards goods imported to Cambodia which are loaded onto means of transportation in the United States of America on August 8, 2025.

Article 5: The General Department of Customs and Excise shall issue additional instructions to ensure the efficiency of the implementation of this ministry order [prakas].

Article 6: All regulations contrary to this ministry order [prakas] are hereby deemed null and void.

Article 7: Cabinet directors, general secretariats, ministers attached to the prime minister as royal delegates as general directors, general directors, inspectors general, and directors of entities under the responsibility of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and related operations must take responsibility to efficiently implement this ministry order [prakas] from the date of signature.
