On the occasion of the upcoming Pchum Ben festival, workers, business owners and most people who have to travel from Phnom Penh to their hometowns, can take the bus provided by the Phnom Penh Capital Hall without pay for family reunions and celebrations in accordance with religious traditions and have fun trips to resorts, entertainment centers or restaurants.
At the same time, some workers who work in resorts, entertainment centers or restaurants will be extremely busy in providing services to customers, national and international tourists. In this regard, the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training would like to appeal to workers and people who take time off to travel to please have understanding and tolerance for workers, service providers and business owners, if any delayed or lacking in any way during this time.
The Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training would like to express sincere gratitude and appreciation for the professional conscience of all essential service workers who have dedicated their personal time to fulfill their essential duties on this occasion. The Ministry would also like to thank the authorities at all levels and private security staff for dedicating their personal time to maintain social security during this holiday.
Once again, the Ministry calls on workers, business owners and residents to check the electrical network, stoves, incense and candles well before leaving their homes or closing their businesses.
