The International Business Chamber of Cambodia (IBC) would like to inform you that the IBC will hold an Open Meeting at Topaz Restaurant and via Zoom Webinar on Wednesday, 7th October, 2020 from 12:00 pm.

To ensure our members stay safe and in line with regulations we will be limiting the amount of attendees.  The allocation will be done based on who confirms their attendance first.  The meeting will also be broadcast via Zoom for those that do not wish to attend in person, or if seats allocation is full.

We have a panel of 3 experts in the technology field to provide you with insights and trends around digital transformation and how this works in Cambodia.

Mr. Nick Beresford
Nick Beresford is UNDP’s Resident Representative in Cambodia. UNDP supports the Royal Government of Cambodia and other partners in a wide range of services including development and economic policy, environmental protection, and climate change adaptation and mitigation.

Nick comes with 19 years’ experience within the UN system and a background in economics and finance. Prior to his assignment in Cambodia, Nick served as Deputy Country Director in Bangladesh covering programmes including urban poverty relief and disaster risk reduction. He has also served with UNDP in Somalia and East Timor, managing programmes ranging from early recovery to elections support. Previous roles include working for UNFPA, International Planned Parenthood Federation and private sector accounting firms in London.

He holds Master of Science in Development Economics from the University of Sussex (UK). He also holds degrees in audit and accountancy and English literature.

As Resident Representative, Nick reports to the UN Resident Coordinator, Pauline Tamesis, and UNDP Regional Director, Valerie Cliff.

Mr. Hashim Alkaff
Hashim Alkaff Country Head (Cambodia) Hashim currently serves as the Country Head for Grab (Cambodia), joining the team from June 2019. Having been in Grab for almost 4 years, Hashim previously led the Regional Product Marketing team, launching over 30 features for Grab across Southeast Asia. Hashim thrives in a fast-paced environment, having experiences in Marketing, Operations, Product Management, and UX Design.

Mr. Steven Path
Mr. Steven Path, who is the chairman, founder and CEO of Pathmazing, has 25 years of technology and leadership experience under his belt in the United States. Mr. Path was CTO of the technology startup eBenX, which had a $1 billion USD IPO on the US stock market. In the following years he co-founded a series of IT companies which provided IT leadership and consulting services to Fortune 100 companies, including UnitedHealth Group, Prudential and Wells Fargo. Mr. Path returned to Cambodia in 2008 to set up Pathmazing to focus on providing world-class IT outsourcing services and launching its own disruptive mobile apps. Today, Pathmazing is the largest software development firm in Cambodia serving small to large enterprises in the United States, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia and Cambodia. Key clients include Tesla, eBay, Coca-cola, Chip Mong Group and Royal Group. Mr. Path is currently on the Board of American Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia and was the former President of the ICT Federation of Cambodia.
