The International Business Chamber of Cambodia (IBC) would like to inform you that the IBC will hold its Regular General Meeting (RGM) at Rosewood Hotel and via Zoom Webinar on Wednesday, 2nd September 2020 from 12:00 pm.
To ensure our members stay safe and in line with regulations we will be limiting the amount of attendees. The allocation will be done based on who confirms their attendance fist. The meeting will also be broadcast via Zoom for those that do not wish to attend in person, or if seats allocation is full.
We will be presenting an “Economic Briefing” from Mr. David Bloch, Australian Embassy, First Secretary (Head, Economic Cooperation Section).
David heads up the Australian Embassy’s Economic Cooperation team in Cambodia, managing trade and investment issues as well as Australia’s economic development programs covering economic governance, infrastructure, private sector development and agriculture.
Before arriving in Cambodia, he held a number of China-focused roles for the Australian Department of Foreign and Trade in Canberra, including leading the development of the $45 million National Foundation for Australia-China Relations. Prior to this, he was posted to the Australian High Commission in Papua New Guinea, managing the Bougainville Office in the lead up to a referendum on independence.
Prior to joining the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, David worked as a lawyer for international law firm DLA Piper, as well as on establishing an anti-corruption commission at the Victorian Department of Justice in Australia.
