Alcohol Ban – Sale and Consumption – 22nd and 23rd of July
Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 July 2023 during the National Election

In accordance with the laws, regulations and procedures for the Naitonal Election, and to ensure the process of National Election 2023 is free, fair and non-violent, the decision was made to ban the sale and consumption of all kinds of alcohol one day before and on election day from 22-23 July 2023 to prevent violence, traffic accidents, and public disorder that can be caused by alcohol consumption.
