Meeting of Working Group on Law, Tax and Governance (Working Group D) under the framework of Government-Private Sector Forum, was organized on 23rd July 2020 to continue addressing issues raised by Private Sector. This meeting was chaired by H.E Aun Pornmoniroth, DPM, Minister of Economy and Finance and Co-Chair of Working Group D and H.E Bretton G. Scaironi, Co-Chair of Working Group D (Private Sector) with participation from representatives of the Royal Government and Private Sector as well as Cambodia Chamber of Commerce.
5 issues were tabled at the meeting for the Royal Government to respond and address as follows: 1. Interest Rate on Loan Between Related Parties; 2. Sub-decree no. 79 SD.NAC.MOEF dated 01 June 2020 on the Penalty for Violation of Accounting and Auditing Law; 3. SMEs Incentive for Priority Sectors; 4. Registration of Foreign Business Associations; and 5. The USD3,000 Deposit for Entering to Cambodia.
