Acting Head of State H.E Say Chhum signed the draft law on “State of Emergency” into legislation on 29 April 2020. H.E Say Chhum signed the law on behalf of King Norodom Sihamoni who is not currently in the Kingdom at the moment.

The law takes effect on the same day of its signing.
